Therefore, there is no need to enlarge the vagina. Treatment involves relaxing and maintaining muscle contractions due to a deliberate and reflexive reaction. First, it helps to lighten the mind of the woman concerned. Activities known as Kegel exercises can train the muscles to relax. First, start urinating and before it ends, stop it slightly. Identify the muscles that are contracted so as to stop urinating intentionally. Kegel exercises also use the same muscles.

Tighten the muscles first. Keep the muscles tight for 2-10 seconds and relax. Do this about twenty times at a time. Exercise kegel from time to time throughout the day. A few days later, while doing Kegel exercises and gently insert a lubricated fingertip into the vagina. Before inserting the finger lubrication is compulsory. You can select a lubricator with the help of your family doctor. The nails in that finger should be fully cut off and there shouldn’t be any sharp edge on the cut face. Start with one finger and gradually increase it up to three fingers. In doing so you will feel the muscles around your vagina contract and relax. Whenever you feel pain or discomfort, remove your fingers.

You can use vaginal dilators instead of your fingers. These remedies can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to be effective.  Can use Psychological counseling to reduce the fear of vaginismus.

After you feel now the size of your vagina is enough, you can try to have sexual intercourse. It is very important to agree with your partner to stop the attempt if there is any pain or discomfort. Very rarely, there are women who develop vaginismus due to the small size of the vagina. It can be enlarged after minor surgery.
